Product description

In this workshop, participants immerse themselves in the historic fine printing process cyanotype, which still inspires today. John Herschel developed this unique technique in 1842 in an attempt to find a method to produce durable photographic images. Participants are introduced to the process and later expose and develop their own motif. Tips and tricks make it possible to alienate or colour the images.
 
For this workshop, participants need to bring a digital negative with them. Images with clear contrast gradations are best suited, fine grey gradients are only roughly reproduced.
 
Age: from 16 years, no previous knowledge necessary
Duration: 4.5 hours

Costs: CHF 150.– per person (incl. material costs)
Note: This workshop requires a minimum of five registered participants and is limited to a maximum of eight people, based on the space available in the photo lab.

Return policy

The product return period is 30 days from the date the product was received. Excluded from this are memberships, vouchers and e-tickets, which cannot be returned.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns in the following cases:
– For damaged items, unless they have already been received damaged.
– If accessories are missing.
– If the return period has passed.

Provided the product can be returned, the full price will be refunded.

Postage costs for returning items are generally paid by the sender. After individual examination, the return costs may be borne by the Fotomuseum Winterthur.
