Ulf Langheinrich creates unique immersive experiences where body, image and sound merge to become one. His performances and video installations crawl under the viewer’s skin, in a relentless and hypnotic act that transforms the sensorial experience into a pure unmediated reality. Dangerously seductive, his works possess a unique and uncompromising physicality. Full Zero is a live video performance where a remorseless scanning camera captures the movements of Chinese performer Luo Yuebing. Her delicate gestures are transformed by the camera into a sensual and sexual flow of images, while sound techniques mutated by deep trance induction evoke a state of alluring aggression – creating an experience that is violent and disturbing, yet intriguingly intimate.

The performance took place at HeK (Freilager-Platz 9, 4142 Münchenstein/Basel) on Friday, 24 March at 8 p.m.
