Kulturnacht Winterthur: Of Soft Tones and Grand Gestures

Kulturnacht invites visitors on a discovery tour through Winterthur’s cultural landscape from dusk until midnight. 16 institutions open their doors and invite guests from Winterthur’s art and cultural scene for an exciting programme of events from all genres. It is an opportunity to get to know the museums and cultural institutions and discover unknown treasures: a diverse programme to look at, listen to, feel and be amazed by.

Fotomuseum Winterthur and Fotostiftung Schweiz are hosting menze&schiwowa. menze&schiwowa – that's the Bavarian cellist Lucia Schneider-Menz, who lives in Winterthur, and the Swiss singer Julia Schiwowa. They create multi-layered pieces blurring the boundaries between music, theatre, cabaret and puppetry.

On Kulturnacht, Fotomuseum Winterthur and Fotostiftung Schweiz are open until 23:00. Tickets for Kulturnacht Winterthur are available on-site from 18:00 or in advance at the Tourist Information at Winterthur railway station.
