Offers for Families
Fotomuseum Winterthur organises a variety of activities for families. Particularly the workshops in the photo lab invite for playful discovery and experimenting for yourself.

Get involved, discover, create!
The new activity booklet for young and curious photo explorers is a creative companion to the exhibitions. Why do we take photographs? How are artworks created? And what do we actually see when we take a closer look? Our new activity booklet invites children aged 5 to 12 and their accompanying adults to explore the world of photography in a playful way. Whether drawing with a pencil or “sketching in the air,” this booklet offers a wide range of tasks that inspire observation, creativity and engagement. It guides young visitors through the exhibitions at Fotomuseum Winterthur. A special highlight: using the included solar paper, children can create their own photogram – without a camera! This turns the museum visit into a memorable and hands-on experience. Whether solving a thought experiment or playing detective in the exhibition space, the booklet encourages kids to experience artworks in their own way, ask questions and discover new perspectives.
Available at the museum shop of Fotomuseum Winterthur.
