Have your portrait taken and create a memory that lasts.
Whether on your own, as a couple or with your loved ones, have your portrait taken by professional photographers and choose the setting that suits you best. From natural light and minimalist studio set-ups to locations in and around the museum or classic black-and-white photography, each approach creates a personal portrait to treasure.
This year, Andrea Ebener, Peter Maurer, Aude Mayer, Anass Nessah and Giorgio von Arb will be taking the photographs. Find information on the photographers here.
For Patrons and Sponsors
As a Patron or Sponsor, participation in the Portrait Event is already included in your membership.
For members without a Patron or Sponsor membership
For CHF 600.–, you will receive the portrait package with two prints as well as a Supporter membership for the coming year, including free admission to Fotomuseum Winterthur and a surprise package from the museum.
Portrait package with Sponsor membership
If you would like to benefit from the additional advantages of a Sponsor membership, you will receive the portrait package as well as a Sponsor membership for 2027 for CHF 1,350.–. This includes free admission to our partner organisations, invitations to exclusive events and a signed original limited-edition photograph. Participation in the 2027 Portrait Event is also included.

On the day of the photo shoot, you will be hosted by the Board of the Friends’ Association Fotomuseum Winterthur. The Portrait Event will take place in the spaces of Fotomuseum Winterthur.
