Short Film Screening pool collective

As part of Photographic Encounters, pool collective presents a short film screening featuring current artistic positions. Fifteen photographers share personal contributions from their ongoing projects. In three minute films, they offer insight into their working methods and visual languages.
The screening makes artistic processes visible and brings together a range of perspectives. It invites audiences to experience photography from different viewpoints and to reconsider it anew.
The event takes place in the context of the exhibition Ester Vonplon – Wingbeat. The artist Ester Vonplon and curator and director Nadine Wietlisbach will be present. While the exhibition offers an in depth exploration of Vonplon’s photographic practice, the screening broadens the focus on the medium and creates an opportunity for exchange around contemporary developments in photography.
Following the approximately 45-minute screening, you are warmly invited to join the participating artists for an apéro, to continue the conversation and reflect further on the works presented.
