Family Workshop for Grandparents’ Day
During a short guided tour of the exhibition by Ester Vonplon, we take time to look closely at her vividly coloured photographs of plants, forests and animal traces. We explore shapes and details and discuss how the images were created and the role that found natural materials play in the artist’s practice.
These observations then flow into a practical session. Using natural materials that participants have collected themselves or brought with them, we create our own photograms, images made without a camera. Exposure takes place on solar paper in sunlight or, in bad weather, in the photographic laboratory. The finished works can be taken home.
The workshop is conceived as a family activity and is aimed at children and adults who would like to discover the museum together.
Each participant requires a ticket.
