In 129 photographs, Swiss artist Thomas Keller, who lives in Berlin, presents an architectonic and geographical investigation and inventory of northeastern Germany. He portrays houses, structural remains, and landscapes as often unoccupied, closed, and emptied-out sites. The photo series not only documents architecture, but also reflects a part of German history through architecture—the history of the former GDR.
