Paulina Olowska’s artistic practice manifests itself in many ways. Her presentations are often rich with quotations and refer to models of modern aesthetics. In contrast to the abstract forms of modernism, she uses concrete and symbolic objects. Olowska’s dance performance, Alphabet, is a reference to expressionist dance of the 1920s. However, she does not fill the space with meaning, but presents her body as an instrument of language.
