Exploring VALIE EXPORT's oeuvre, the scientist, activist, author, performance artist and rapper Dr. Reyhan Şahin aka Lady Bitch Ray provides in-depth insights into her own work. She discusses EXPORT's decidedly feminist media criticism and contextualises it in today’s discourse.

This event takes place in the framework of the exhibition VALIE EXPORT – The Photographs. It is the first show to focus on the photographic oeuvre of the artist VALIE EXPORT (b. 1940), whose at times provocative performances and experimental installations have been a source of controversy. The show examines EXPORT’s use of photography as a critical exploration of processes of depiction and representation. At the interface of film, video art, drawing and body art the photographs offer a new perspective on her creative oeuvre.

The product return period is 30 days from the date the product was received. Excluded from this are memberships, vouchers and e-tickets, which cannot be returned.

Provided the product can be returned, the full price will be refunded.

Postage costs for returning items are generally paid by the sender. After individual examination, the return costs may be borne by the Fotomuseum Winterthur.
