There is a good deal of talk nowadays about a crisis in reportage and documentary photography connected with the loss of subjective, personal photographic series in magazines, and the predominance of the speedier information provided by television. This forces narrative, in-depth photography to look for new avenues with which to forestall the loss of authorship with different media and new sponsors. In recent years, a conspicuous shift of emphasis has taken place that has transferred the photographic document to other contexts, such as advertising, fashion and art.
