Turntable/Talks: REC REC with Veit Stauffer, Peter Bäder & Marcus May «Total Records – Vinyl & Photography»

Some of the album sleeves released at REC REC and its sublabels ORGANIK and BOY in the past 35 years are shown in Total Records. From 3 to 6 p.m., Veit Stauffer, Peter Bäder and Marcus May will be working the turntables to bring the music to the exhibition space. This three-hour turntable session will also include relaxed conversations between the three REC REC protagonists, full of background information and anecdotes. The conversations will be in German.

Veit Stauffer is one of the founding members of Swiss label REC REC. Together with Peter Bäder (REC REC graphic designer in the 1980/1990s) and Marcus May (concert organiser, ORGANIK, discoverer of Böse Bub Eugen, Young Gods and The Smiths), Stauffer has been one of the influential protagonists in the local independent music scene.
