«The Hobbyist» Demo-Talk: Drones as a Hobby with Nicolas Vermot-Petit-Outhenin

In perhaps no other area of technology have the innovations from the professional sector trickled down so quickly to the private consumer as they have with drones. These rapidly evolving aircraft have acquired a considerable following in recent years, as flying drones has become a hobby. And nearly every drone flight includes a camera, which is used for both navigation and documentation. As the airspace is invaded by flying cameras, many questions demand answers: Where are you allowed to fly? What are you allowed to film? Which videos are you better off not posting online?

Nicolas Vermot-Petit-Outhenin talks with an amateur drone pilot about how drones have given new wings to the dream of flying, what every drone pilot should know, and how flying drones provides a new perspective on the world. The talk will be followed by a drone demonstration.
