Talk: The Internet as a Mirror of Society

What potential for promoting image and media literacy does the practice of artists who engage with digital image cultures harbour? The artists Tamara Janes and Jennifer Merlyn Scherler will give an insight into their own practice in a discussion. They will present selected examples of their work and show how they address and scrutinise Internet phenomena. Their work encourages us to critically reflect on digitality and its influence on society.
