Online Discussion: Visual Protest on the Web

This panel with Ulla Autenrieth (media scholar), Daniela Brugger (artist/art educator) and Noha Mokhtar (anthropologist/artist) discusses visual protest cultures on social media and how such protests are an important form of communication for young people.

The online event is free and will take place in German (via Zoom). Details on how to access the talk will be confirmed upon registration. Register here.

The event is part of From Print to Pixel, an educational project designed to foster competence in dealing with images and media. In a context framed by digital media and new advances in technology, the project opens the door on current developments in photography and discusses their impact on us as a society.

From Print to Pixel is an initiative of Fotomuseum Winterthur and has been made possible by Migros Pioneer Fund, part of the social commitment of the Migros Group.
