Depot Tuesday – Guided Tours Through the Collection

How does the Fotomuseum Winterthur deal with its collection? How has the focus of the collection changed over the years? How are digital works stored and maintained?
During a 90-minute guided tour, participants will gain insight into the collection of Fotomuseum Winterthur which comprises more than 9.000 photographic objects by renowned national and international artists from the 1960s up to the immediate present.
Patrizia Munforte, collection curator, and Andrea Hadem, art handling/registrar, will introduce individual works, give visitors an understanding of the history of Fotomuseum Winterthur and answer questions about the collection.
The event takes place in German.
Admission: CHF 18.– (reduced CHF 15.–, free of charge for members)
Meeting point: foyer of Fotostiftung Schweiz.
Please note that the room temperature in the depot rooms does not exceed 14°C.
