Provocative images of youthful bodies and ecstatic excesses define the work of Larry Clark. He knows no limits, neither in the choice of his subjects nor in his close contact with them. For decades he has documented upcoming (skater) generations in brutally intimate moments. One of his ‘anti-icons’ is a young woman, heavily pregnant, shooting up. Is this productive voyeurism or a “violation of moral sensibilities”?
