Material Matters: From Preparation to Exhibition

As an accompaniment to the exhibition One Another – Kara Springer and the Collection of Fotomuseum Winterthur, this event provides an exclusive insight into the work required to put the exhibits on display. Géraldine Feller (registrar) and Alessandra Nappo (collection curator) present selected works from the current exhibition and explain how photographs make their way from museum storage to the exhibition space, providing a revealing behind-the-scenes glimpse – from the preparation work carried out by conservators and questions regarding materials and procedures all the way to curatorial decisions.
