Workshop: Superhero with Glitter Power

After a quick peek at the exhibition Poulomi Basu – Phantasmagoria, and drawing inspiration from Basu’s Chimeras collages, participants will use their own photos to make a collage in which they stage themselves as superheroes. Paper motifs, feathers and glitter beads will be added in to create a personal image that answers questions like 'Who am I?', 'What am I good at?', 'Who would I like to be?' This workshop offers a creative space for self-expression and for discovering your own strengths.
This workshop takes place in German.
Age group: For children aged five and over (without adult accompaniment), no prior knowledge required.
Admission: CHF 20.– (incl. material and exhibition admission).
Note: This workshop requires a minimum of five registered participants and is limited to a maximum of 15 people.
This event forms part of the exhibition Poulomi Basu – Phantasmagoria. Indian artist Poulomi Basu generates powerful imagery that occupies a world between reality and fiction. The exhibition combines photographs, film, virtual reality and an installation. The works centre on women from the Global South, indicating paths of self-empowerment and giving visibility to themes of exclusion and gender-based violence.
