Wie sähe es aus, wenn wir die Geschichte der Fotografie noch einmal neu erzählen könnten? Einer spielerischen Neubetrachtung der Fotogeschichte von 1840 bis in die Gegenwart widmet sich nun der Kunstpalast durch den Ankauf der Sammlung Kicken. Im Umgang mit den über 3'000 angekauften Fotografien verbindet das Museum auf vielschichtige Weise Ikonen der Avantgarden – von Man Ray bis Bernd und Hilla Becher – mit Motiven der Alltagsfotografie, Einzelbilder stehen neben Serien, frühe fotografische Techniken werden neben amerikanischer Farbfotografie gezeigt. Über thematische Kapitel werden die Betrachter_innen dazu eingeladen zu erfahren, welche fotografischen Blicke von «Neugier» getrieben wurden, welche sich der Aufgabe des «Zeugnis» verschrieben – und wie diese Anliegen jeweils die Gestalt der Fotografie damals wie heute prägen.

Return policy

The product return period is 30 days from the date the product was received. Excluded from this are memberships, vouchers and e-tickets, which cannot be returned.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns in the following cases:
– For damaged items, unless they have already been received damaged.
– If accessories are missing.
– If the return period has passed.

Provided the product can be returned, the full price will be refunded.

Postage costs for returning items are generally paid by the sender. After individual examination, the return costs may be borne by the Fotomuseum Winterthur.
