Turntable/Talks: Edo Bertoglio shows Downtown 81 «Total Records – Vinyl & Photography»

Jean-Michel Basquiat is the main protagonist of Downtown 81, which depicts the 19-year old painter’s rise to becoming the darling of the art world. The film is shown in the exhibition space at 3 p.m. At 5 p.m. director Edo Bertoglio will talk about the New York underground music scene involving Debbie Harry and John Lurie, and will sign his recent publication New York Polaroids 1976–1989.
